The new year brings with it all sort of lists. The Top 10 news stories, movies, celebrities, etc. So why not the Top programming language?Well, the votes are in, and according to the PYPL Popularity of Programming Language Index, Microsoft's C# programming language was the Number One programming language of 2012.

According to the index, use of the language grew by more than two percent over 2011, dwarfing Java, PHP, and C++. And the evidence suggests that language will only continue to grow in popularity across 2013.This finding is critical for IT job seekers for the obvious reason that if they're looking for work, they should strongly consider a C# video course so they can master the most popular language in the world. The more the language is being used, the greater the odds these skills will be in demand.

Pretty simple stuff, right?
