SharePoint 2013 offers an entirely new platform for creating workflows, it is called Workflow Manager. This is a completely redesigned workflow infrastructure that is built on Windows Workflow Foundation 4 (WF4). SharePoint 2010 workflows are still supported but the new platform offers many advantages, and the tooling in SharePoint Designer 2013, Visio 2013, and Visual Studio 2013 has improved considerably to take advantage of the new platform. After viewing this course you will have the knowledge of how to build workflows on the new platform using all three of these tools, and also have a solid decision tree of when to use each tool.
