This new version has new and better features that support even more data scenarios than ever before, while keeping your data more secure, available, and even cleaner. Transact-SQL is better than ever before, and there are better tools for letting both admins and users make better use of the data to support critical decisions. There is a lot to like, even as the product grows enormous.

Meet the expert

Don Kiely is a featured instructor on many of our SQL Server and Visual Studio courses. He is a nationally recognized author, instructor, and consultant specializing in Microsoft technologies. Don has many years of teaching experience, is the author or co-author of several programming books, and has spoken at many industry conferences and user groups.
